Hope is an optimistic attitude or mind-set that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes. People can have hope for a something in particular, such as receiving a high score on a test, or they can have a hopeful outlook for life in general. Although some people are more disposed to being hopeful than others, everyone can come to be more hopeful. The more people encourage their minds in a posi-tive direction, the more positive their thought patterns become. They learn to focus their attention in the direction they want to go in rather than the one they fear.
During these workshops we will explore hope. What is hope? Ways to regain hope by changing our attitudes and behaviours and by creating the right environment for hope.
