Position Title: Bounce Back Program Support Volunteer
Reports To: Bounce Back Administrative Team
Location: Vaughan Office
Purpose: To provide administrative support for the Bounce Back Coaches

MISSION STATEMENT OF AGENCY
As a leader and champion for mental health, CMHA facilitates access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience and support recovery from mental illness.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Collating materials and putting together assessment packages for mailing to Bounce Back clients
  • Inventory support for Bounce Back Program Material
  • May be required to photocopy and scan documents using digital scanning equipment and ensure that administrative scans upload into the system
  • Adhere to CMHA s written volunteer policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to documentation / information about clients, family members and others
  • Bring questions to supervisor as they arise
  • Be aware of health and safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to assist clients & staff of program
  • Works well with others and enjoys helping when needed
  • Easily adapts to changing environments
  • Complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening Check.
  • Ability to use office equipment (digital scanner, computer, photocopier)
  • Previous administrative experience including computer equipment an asset

COMMITMENT

  • Completion of general orientation and on-the-job training; to be arranged with Supervisor
  • Monthly Activity Forms identifying volunteer hours will be completed and submitted to the supervisor for signature at the end of each month
  • A minimum 6 month commitment
