Brooke
Hi, I’m Brooke! I am a Peer Support Worker with CMHA York Region South Simcoe. Through my own lived experiences with mental health challenges, I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support and how important it is to feel welcomed and heard.
My goal is to bring empathy, patience, honesty, and a non-judgmental approach to every conversation. My hope is that people feel safe, respected, and supported in whatever stage of their recovery they are in.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors at the cottage, and finding happiness in the small moments of everyday life!

What is a Peer Support Worker?
A Peer Support Worker is someone who has their own lived experience with mental health or addiction challenges – and uses that experience to support others on their recovery journey. They work alongside you to build confidence, foster independence, and connect you with community and resources. Through social, educational, and recreational programs, they help you feel welcome and less alone.
