08 Apr CMHA celebrates National Volunteer Week
CMHA York South Simcoe volunteers play a crucial role in our organization and our community. Without the dedication of volunteers, many programs offered by our branch would not be possible.
That’s why from April 7-13, CMHA York South Simcoe joins organizations across the country in celebrating Canada’s 12.7 million volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
Volunteering can take many forms. At CMHAs across the country, volunteers are found working on special projects or programs, within fundraising activities such as Mental Health in Motion, or serving on local boards. All of these activities help improve the quality of life for individuals and families who are affected by mental health issues.
At CMHAYork South Simcoe, volunteers help in programs all over the region, admin work, and with our annual Ride, Run and Walk for Mental Health called Mental Health in Motion.
From all of us at CMHA York South Simcoe, thank you to the amazing volunteers we work with every day. We truly appreciate your dedication in helping us work towards good mental health for all.
