Registered Practical Nurse, Assertive Community Treatment Team (SE)
Christine’s advice and inspiration for others
Always have hope and know that there are resources available that can help you through overwhelming times. Recovery is fluid and everyone’s journey is their own.
Christine’s most rewarding accomplishment at CMHA
My favorite accomplishments are seeing our clients finally reach the end of their journey with CMHA, having supports and resources in place. I feel a sense of pride when we get clients to this point in their recovery journey, and that they will go on to lead productive lives in the community.
Why Christine enjoys working at CMHA
CMHA offers so many programs at different levels during the recovery journey. Knowing that there are organizations like CMHA available to support clients and families through times when they may feel they are alone and hopeless inspires my work. That’s why I chose to work at CMHA, and I also have the best team to work with!

How the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) supports our community
The ACT team provides client centered, community-based care. Emphasis on relationship building and involvement with our team helps assist them with challenges related to a primary diagnosis of schizophrenia and other mental health illnesses.
