The Family and Caregiver Education Group assists families and caregivers increase their knowledge of mental illnesses, get support and obtain the tools they need to make informed decisions. It is designed for people who want or need to learn basic information about mental illness and the mental health system.
We will help you:
- Increase your understanding of mental illnesses, treatment options, and effects of medication
- Reduce your stress and feelings of isolation
- Understand how you can best support your loved one
- Develop effective coping strategies
