Gender Affirming Health Clinic (GAHC)

The Gender Affirming Health Clinic (GAHC) aims to create a safe, confidential, and inclusive space for all. We provide culturally competent and gender affirming primary health and mental health care to trans and gender diverse people. Specific services include physical and sexual health care, hormone replacement therapy, counselling services, transition support, advocacy and system navigation.

What is the GAHC?

The GAHC team includes a Nurse Practitioner and a Counsellor who provides holistic and gender affirming care.

Eligibility includes: anyone who is 16 years+ who identifies as gender diverse, trans, non-binary, and/or questioning.

No health card is required for direct services and we welcome supportive family and friends.

Self-referrals are encouraged.

Where and When?
Currently, the GAHC is held at two locations:

- CMHA Aurora Office(Upper floor) - 15150 Yonge St, Aurora
- CMHA Vaughan Office - 8271 Keele St., Unit 2, Concord
